摘    要:利用φ映射方法计算了近晶相液晶中向错线对自由能的影响.得出向错线自身的自由能是以kπ为单位拓扑量子化的,从而弥补了挖掉奇异区域来估算向错线自由能的不足.研究结果表明,向错强度相同的两条向错线由于排斥最终将达到一个平衡状态,向错强度相反的两条向错线由于吸引可能彼此湮灭.

Abstract:In the light of -mapping method,the effect of disclination lines on the free energy of smectic C liquid crystals is studied.It is pointed that the free energy of disclinations themselves is topologically quantized in the unit of kπ,which makes up shortcoming of the estimation of the free energy by digging a disclination core region.It is shown that two disclinations,if their disclination strengths are the same,will be a equilibrium state at last because of their repulsion,or they will annihilate each other because of the gravitation.
