| Abstract: | A experimental method to determine the concentration of extractant petroleum sulphoxides (PSO) has been established. Using perchlorate potential titration method, the concentration of PSO in acetic anhydride non-aqueous system has been measured. The method is easy to operate and reliable. The equilibrium constant of the extraction of nitric acid with PSO in PSO-kerosene-nitric acid system has been obtained by using the corresponding solution principle. The mechanism of PSO extracting nitric acid has also been explored. |
