北竿山鸟类资源调查

2003～2004年期间对北竿山的鸟类资源进行了实地调查，记录到鸟类38种，隶属于7目16科，其中有5种国家二级保护鸟类，另有5种属于上海市重点保护鸟类．夜鹭、池鹭、中白鹭、牛背鹭、白鹭等鹭科鸟类数量聚集有3万多只，北竿山已成为上海陆上鸟类聚集密度最大，数量最多的一个鸟类栖息地．建议建立北竿山鸟类自然保护区，申报“国际鸟盟重点乌区（IBA）”，加强对北竿山鸟类资源的有效管理和保护．

An investigation of bird resource from Beigan Mountain

The authors investigated the bird resource in Beigan Mountain from 2003 to 2004. In the spot investigation, 38 species birds were recorded, belonging to 7 orders and 16 families. There are 5 species birds of National Level 2 protection,5 species birds of Shanghai protection , and more than 30 thousand Ardeidae birds such as Nycticorax nycticorax, Ardeola bacchus, Egretta intermedia, Bubulcus ibis and Egretta garzetta. Today, Beigan Mountain is one of the congregation area of birds with the most amount and the largest density fo birds than any other congregation areas in Shanghai. We suggest to establish the Beigan Mountain Nature Reserve for Birds, to apply for ＂Birdlife Intemational Important Bird Area（IBA） ＂, and to strengthen the effective management operation and protect to bird resource.
