| Abstract: | Qualitative behaviour and local stability of the nontrivial equilibrium point for an S-I-R -S epidemic model are discussed. It is shown that this epidemic model has a threshold behaviour in the sense that the behaviour of solutions are different, depending on whether the threshold value is above or below the critical value. |
