“真诗在民间”——民歌理论发生初探

明代以前,没有正式的民歌理论。受金、元散曲传播到民间的影响,明代的民歌空前发达,引起文人们的高度关注,民歌理论应运而生:王叔武、李开先、冯梦龙等作为民歌理论的奠基者,在“真诗”观念基础上建立的民歌理论,实是中国诗学之真谛。

Genuine Poetry Among People--Theory of the Origin of Ballads

No real ballad theory had ever been shaped before the Ming Dynasty.Ballads in the Ming Dynasty were unprecedentedly prosperous as a consequence of the free-style dramas popularized among ordinary people in the Jir and Yuan Dynasties. Ballads were shown so much interest and attention that theories on them boomed. Such theoretical founders as Wang Shuwu, Li Kaixian and Feng Menglong etc.have established the baqllad theory on the "genuine poetry" basis, which can be considered to be the essence of Chinese poetry.
