| Abstract: | The author made a preliminary survey on freshwater snails in Tung-Ting Lake and its mainsurrounding,waters from 1989 to 1992.There are 27 species of freshwater snails in totas which respectively belong to 12 genera in five families of Gastropoda.The paper recounted the summary of species of freshwater snails in theregion;and analysed their population size,distribution,coenosis com-munity and characteristices of fruna. |
