| Abstract: | An algorithm for reducing the linearized error of the FM demodulator is proposed. The nonlinear function is expanded to a Taylor's series at the prediction point Xk/(k-1) and the coefficient of the linear term Xk is to be adjusted with the algorithm proposed so that the line described by the linear equation will approximate nearer to the curve described by the original nonlinear equation at point Xk. The linearized error will be reduced and the accuracy of the demodulator can be greatly improved. |
