摘    要:Based on a basic rule for the research on numerical methods which requires that the properties of the original problem should be preserved as much as possible under discretization, a new method for constructing total energy conservation algorithms is presented. By this method, all kinds of implicit schemes with energy conservation laws including many classical conservation schemes can be constructed from a kind of special function. Also, the concrete criterion for judging total energy conservation schemes is given. Numerical tests show that these new schemes are effective.

Abstract:Based on a basic rule for the research on numerical methods which requires that the properties of the original problem should be preserved as much as possible under discretization, a new method for constructing total energy conservation algorithms is presented.
