“五四”时期女子教育蓬勃发展的经济原因

民国建立后，女学进入一个相对平稳的发展期，尤其是在“五四”运动之后，女子教育更是呈现蓬勃发展之势。女子教育之所以蓬勃发展有三个方面的经济原因，即政府教育投入、社会资本的支持、家庭对女子教育承受能力的增强。其中政府的教育投入和社会资本的支持为其主要的经济原因，而家庭承受能力的增强则为其发展提供了社会基础。

Analysis of the economic reasons for the vigorous development of women education in the period of the May 4th Movement

After the establishment of the Republic of China, women education went into a period of relative steady development, especially after the May 4th Movement, women education took on a tendency towards vigorous development, for which there are three economic reasons： the government education input, the social capital support, the increase of the family bearing capacity for women education. The government education input and the social capital support were the primary economic reasons while the increase of the family bearing capacity provided the social base for women education.
