THE STUDY OF MODIFIED TALC POWDER ON FILLER RETENTION IN PAPERMAKING |

| Abstract: | This paper reports the study of modified filler grade to modify talc powder. It is concluded that the optimum retention effect of talc can be achieved by covering it with 5% Al2O3. 3H2O. Adding 30% filler,3H2O covered talc powder, which are 29.76% and 11.35% higher than that of the unmodified talc powder respectively. |
