浅谈文学翻译的"创造性叛逆"

语言文字翻译尤其是文学翻译,是一件难事.古今中外许多翻译家和理论家提出不少切合本国语言实际和阅读欣赏习惯的翻译理论及其方法,有的侧重于忠于原著,有的偏向于富于艺术性的"再创造",见仁见智,莫衷一是.本文从比较文学译介学的角度,探讨文学翻译的"创造性叛逆"之不可避免及其对于不同民族文学交流所起的积极作用.

Discussion on Creative Treason in Literary Translation

It is a tough job to do language translation,literary translation in particular.Many translators and theoreticians,past and present,home and abroad,raised quite a few translating theories and skills which tried to adapt to their own language and their reading habits.Some theories on translation stressed loyalty to the original works while others valued more in "artistic recreation".Opinion varied and no agreement could be reached in terms of literary translation.The paper,focusing on the latter and from the angle of medio-translatology in comparative literature,probes into the inevitability of creative treason in literary translation and its positive effect on the exchange of different ethnic literature.
