| Abstract: | Chengdu City is located in an alluvial plain, Chengdu Piain. As an age-old city, it has been of more than 2000 yr. history, whereas, it is a developing city, too. This paper simply introduces the geological 'environment of Chengdu City, and two kinds of engineering geological probiems of natu al or anthropogenic origin have been intensivly analysed. In the end of this paper, the autnors give out the rational means of utilizing and protecting on urban geological environment. |
