| Abstract: | The authors established a mechanical model for presplitting rock by utilizing fundamental principles of rock mechanics,fracture mechanics and mechanics of explosion,derived formulae for calculating the amount of explosive per hole and spacing between holes.and verified the validity of the model through field trials. |
