The Chinese Medical Association and the China Medical Missionary Association Cooperation and Mergers

In 1932,merger between the Chinese medical association and the China medical missionary association is a turning point in the history of Chinese modern medicine.It marks the end of the leading Chinese medicine of foreign forces and the start of Chinese comprehensive control over the western medicine.This paper believes that origin or close relationship between the two sides provides a variety of facilities for the cooperation.The cooperation between the two meetings in public health,medical term review and other aspects laid a good foundation for the ultimate merger.In 1928,set up of the Ministry of Health of National government provide a historic opportunity and momentum for the merger.Merger of two meetings is a truly powerful combination,complement each other.It has effectively promoted the Chinese Medical Association international exchanges and cooperation,enhance their professional level of academic research.
