| 摘 要： | 在光纤ＰＺＴ相位调制器中，由纵向强大应力而导致的第二类横向应力差是产生双折射的主要因素。分析结果表明这种双折射效应与所加电压成线性关系，并且与光纤弯曲半径的平方、波长成反比．最后提出相应的抑制措施。

| Abstract: | Two kinds of birefringence existing in the fiber optical piezoelectric phase modulator are studied.The second kind of birefringence due to the longitudal force resulted from the streching of the fiber is the main source.It is identified that this birefringence effect has a linear relation with the voltage on the modulator.Some means of reducing the birefringence are proposed. |
