HTH—4液晶聚酯合成路线的改进

摘    要:以对羟基苯甲酸甲酯和1,4-丁二醇为原料,在酯交换催化剂Ti(OC4H9-n)4/Sn(n-C4H9)2(C11H23COO)2存在下,采用熔融酯交换反应合成出单体:双(对羟基苯甲酸)丁二醇酯(BBHB)。然后再与对苯二甲酰氯分别在3种不同的溶剂中进行溶液缩聚,合成出3个不同分子量的HTH-4聚合物样品,并用DSC、POM对其液晶性进行了表征。

Abstract:butylene bis(p hydroxybenzoates) (BBHB) were prepared from solbral and 1,4 butanediol by melted state transesterification reaction with Ti(OC 4H 9 n )/Sn( n C 4H 9) 2(C 11 H 23 COO) 2 as the catalyst. Three liquid crystalline polyesters were synthesized from terephthalyl dichloride and BBHB.Thermotropic liquid crystalline properties of these polyesters were identified by differential scanning calorimetry and polarizing microscope with a hot stage.
