摘    要:本文简要地介绍了降低光电倍增管热噪声和提高光电子脉冲输出幅度的原理,并提出了改进措施和给出了测试结果。改进后的光电倍增管能在室温下满足低噪声、高灵敏、宽光谱的要求。最后介绍了实际应用情况。本文于1947年5月13日收到。

Abstract:This introduces the basic principle of how the heat noise of the photomultiplier tube can be reduced and the amplitude of the pulse output be raised. It suggests improvements and gives measurement results. Thus the improved photomultiolier tubes are able to meet the needs of low noise, high sensitvity and wide spec ctrum at ambient temperture. Finally the article introduces the qr actical use of the detector.
