| Abstract: | Temporary overvoltage is an important factor for the determination of insulation level in a long distance EHV or UHV transmission system. This paper presents a method of temporary overvoltage calculation with the characteristics of non-linear elements taken into account,therefore the results of overvoltage calculation can be more accurate and more reliable. |
