| 摘 要： | 在翻译过程中经常要将原语隐含的信息增补出来,增译的内容可能是根据语义或修辞的需要,也可能是根据句法的需要。这些内容不是可有可无的,如果不增补出来,可能造成语义的不完整,不符合译语的表达习惯,影响译语的可读性,增译的原则是虽然增词但不能增加原语中不包含的意思。

| Abstract: | during the process of translation,it is necessary to add the implicit elements in the source language.What can be added is according to the semantic or rhetoric need and sometimes the syntactic need which are necessary.If it is not added,it will lead to uncompleted meaning,wrong way of target language expression,and influence the readability of the target language.The principle of amplification is to add words but not add new meanings that the source language doesn't contain.This paper aims at discussing the use of amplification from the above two aspects and being helpful to the teaching and practice of translation. |
