| Abstract: | In this paper, the writer makes a detailed comparison between the kinship terms and their uses in Chinese, English and Japanese, and illustrates the differences in the kinship terms and their uses between the three languages. Furthermore, the writer also discusses the cultural differences reflected by the different kinship terms and their uses in the three languages. |
