“后奥运时代”，我国举国体制下的竞技体育将迎来一次意义深远的变革。在这样的转型时期，建设一支高素质、高水平、创新型的教练员队伍是保持我国竞技水平的重要环节。通过查阅文献资料，结合新形势和多年的从业经验，试从思想素质、心理素质、知识结构、能力结构四方面对竞技体育教练员的素质构成进行分析，旨在为我国建设高水平的竞技体育教练员队伍提供参考。
