| 摘 要： | 清代妇女始终未取得合法受教育权利。王贞仪冲破封建社会世俗种种阻拦,刻苦自学,在天文学、数学等学科内中西贯通,勇于创新,在研究中主张中西自然科学知识交流、兼收、融合;在方法上化繁就简,大力宣传普及当时的最新自然科学知识,功不可没,在我国自然科学发展史上应占有相应的地位。她刻苦自学成才的精神,在21世纪的今天,仍有现实意义。

| Abstract: | Wang Zhen-yi overcame many difficulties to study mathematics, astronomy and Chinese medicine, to link up Chinese sciences with Western ones and publicized them with her methodological creations. In the history of Chinese science, her contributions on mathematics and astronomy took up a pioneering position. |
