摘    要:研究了利用光注入锁定法布里-珀罗激光器(FP-LD)进行时分复用无源光网络(TDM-PON)上行信号的光功率均衡.通过二次光注入锁定FP-LD实现上行信号功率均衡,由一外部单纵模激光注入锁定光网络单元(ONU)上行信号的输出波长,光谱稳定的上行光注入锁定位于光线路终端(OLT)的功率均衡器FP-LD.本功率均衡器可以使上行光功率由-10~-25dBm的功率变化量变为1.2dB最大功率变化量.并测试功率均衡器对上行光信号传输品质影响.

Abstract:An optical power equalization of upstream traffic in TDM-PON using injection-locked Fabry-Perot lasers was experimentally investigated.We used two stage injection locking FP-LD technique to realize the power equalization of the upstream signals.A single-longitudinal-mode LD was applied as an external injection light source to lock the output wavelength of the ONU transmitters.The power equalizer FP-LD in OLT was mode-locked by the upstream lightwave with stable spectrum.A 1.2 dB maximal power variation under a dynamic upstream power range of-25 dBm to-10 dBm was achieved by using the proposed power equalizer.We also investigated the influence of the power equalizer on the transmission quality of the upstream traffic.
