当代意识研究中的主要困难及其可能出路

一般认为,感受特质(quale)是当代意识研究中的核心难题。本文首先指出学界研究感受特质过程中普遍遭遇到三个困难:描述性困难、非还原性困难和私密性困难,并表明私密性是导致感受特质难题得不到妥善解决的真正原因;其次,尝试将特定的哲学概念考察法与认知神经科学的最新研究成果相结合,设计一种对付私密性困难的复合消解方案,这一方案被精简地表述为私密感受论证(private sensations argument,PSA)。在此基础之上,又具体展示了一条能有效处理感受特质的神经哲学进路(neurophilosophical approach)。

On the Hard Problem of Consciousness

Quale is a hard problem in the contemporary studies of consciousness because of the three elements:non-analysis,irreductivity and privacy.We think privacy is the key to solve quale.But,by far,most theories about quale cannot effectively deal with any of the above three elements besides DCH(dynamic core hypothesis).So,firstly,we will illustrate DCH because it is an effective way to settle non-analysis and irreductivity.But on the other hand,we find nobody think DCH can settle privacy.Secondly,we will use a c...
