摘    要:本文阐述了开路循环的原理,提出了应用太阳能及其它形式能量开路分解水的两个循环一改进的Fe-Cl循环和S-I循环,前者可用于在无还原性物质的条件下从赤铁矿直接生产铁;后者可以SO2为原料连续生产硫酸,提出了两循环操作示意图,此两开路循环方法将为铁的冶炼和硫酸的生产提供具有广阔应用前景的新方法。

Abstract:The thermochemical open - loop theory is elucidated and two open - loop cycles,i, e. ,the improved Fe -Cl cycle and the S -I cycle,for the decomposition of water employing solar energy and other forms of energy are proposed. The former can be used to produce iron directly from ferric oxide without the existence of reducing substances ( and the latter can be employed in the continuous production of sulfuric acid from SO2. Illustrative operation diagrams are designed. These two cycles may become promising in the production of iron and sulfuric acid.
