Abstract:Taking the industrial calcium carbide are furnace as the controlled object and aiming at existing problems in its operation, an intelligent control system for energy saving is presented. It is a complex system composed of neural network controller and computer controlled regulator of the electrodes. The neural network controller for the furnace is designed and a new algorithm of learning is developed. The computer simulation and practical operation of this system show that its operation is stable and effect of energy saving is remarkable.
