| Abstract: | Not only is metaphor a figure of speech, but also a pattern of cognition and a sophisticated linguistically cultural phenomenon. It exists in every aspect of our language, culture, thinking and social life, which embodies the common feature of the human being' s cognition. And simultaneously it has apparent social cultural characteristics with regard to the cultural phenomenon. |
