| Abstract: | Cucurbitacins, tetracyclic triterpenoid compounds, are contained in many higher plants; and showed strong and unique biological activities. Based on the former overviews about cucurbitacins, the structural characteristics of Cucurbitacins, and recent studies of chemical and biological activities of Cucurbitacins, are summarized. |
