铝电解槽废旧阴极炭块的结构和组成

摘    要:通过X光衍射、显微结构、红外光谱等测试方法,对铝电解槽废旧阴极炭块的物质组成和结构进行了分析。X光衍射结果表明,废旧阴极炭块中浸入的电解质主要为氟化钠、冰晶石等氟盐和氧化铝,其中的炭具有较高的石墨化程度。通过偏光和透光显微镜分析发现,电解质主要在炭块的裂缝和孔洞中结晶析出,与炭有清晰的界面。通过破碎可以实现解离,为其综合利用提供了依据。

Abstract:To recover the solid electrolyte and carbon, the composition andstructure of spent potlinings were investigated by means of such microtechni-ques as X-ray diffracion, IR-spectrum and polarizing microscopy. The resultsreveal that the spent potlinigs are mainly composed of NaF, Na_3AlF_6, Al_2O_3,Al_4C_3, NaC_(64) and Na_4Fe(CN)_6, among which the carbon in spent cathode blockwas found highly graphitized. Microscopic analyses indicate that the electro-lytes are segregated in the fissures/voids with clear interface from carbon. Thespent potlinings were proved separable/decomposable by way of crushing, thusenabling to put into comprehensive utilization.
