Research-oriented Learning in Higher Education

The main way of learning is reading,while that of research is writing,and writing is closely related to creativity.In college education in China,research-oriented learning should be promoted and cultivated.This can be achieved by active and independent reading and mutually-beneficial co-operative reading,followed by related writings with a view to deepening learning and critical thinking.The present higher education in China should lay emphasis not only on the correct concept of scholarly research,but also on practical ways of achieving the aim.
