古代北方少数民族画家胡瓌的族籍问题考证

胡瓌是9、10世纪间专门表现北方草原民族生活题材的主要代表画家。其生活年代、族籍以及真实的身份一直都留有阙疑，目前各方的研究多数赞同把胡瓌确定为辽代契丹人。经过考证，认为胡瓌是唐末生活于河北地区的少数民族贵族后裔，因此，他的艺术成就并不能作为辽代契丹人文化、艺术的代表。

On the Nationality of the Minority Painter Hu Gui in the Ancient North

Hu Gui was an important painter whose paintings mainly displayed the life of the northern grassland nationality from the 9th to the 10th century.The time for his living,his nationality and his real identity remain unanswered.Up till now,many researchers agree that Hu Gui was Khitan of Liao dynasty.Based on textual research,the paper argues that he was a descendent of the minority noble inhabiting Hebei area at the end of Tang dynasty,therefore,his artistic achievement can not be regarded as the representative of the Khitan culture and art.
