| Abstract: | The color reaction of rutin with Fe(Ⅲ)and its IR, UV character were studied. In the presence of pH = 5.6 buffer solution and CTMAB medium . rutin can reacts with Fe(Ⅲ)to form a stable 3:1 complex. The malor absorptivity is 1.38? 104 L.mol-1.em-1 at 590nm. Beer' s law is obeyed in range of 0-50μg/25ml. This method can be applied to the determination of Fe(Ⅲ) in tobacco environmental sample with satisfactory results. |
