Abstract: | Summary A rapid, convenient TLC method is described for detection of cyclochlorotine, a carcinogen produced by the commonly found storage moldPenicillium islandicum Sopp. This method has also led to the isolation of a new toxic metabolite, simatoxin.Acknowledgment.
