Research on Mechanical Properties of Chemical Fibers

Development and present situation of chemical fiber industry was briefly introduced. In this paper, a comparative study on mechanical properties of nylon, polyester, and polypropylene was done. The purpose of the study is to have a better understanding of the performance of the various fibers and their advantages and disadvantages, to explore their application environment.
