摘    要:为了减小OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)无线LAN(Local Area Net)系统信号的峰平比,利用信号限幅滤波技术,提出了一种适用于无线LAN系统的峰平比降低调制器实现方案,给出了其实现算法及限幅因子的调节策略;并利用计算机仿真对该系统的峰平比、功率谱和误码率性能进行了分析,仿真结果表明,限幅滤波技术可以有效地改善无线LAN系统OFDM信号的高峰平比特性.

Abstract:OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is an attractive technique for wireless communication applications.However,OFDM signals have a large PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio),which can result in significant nonlinear distortion when transmitted through a power amplifier. To reduce the large PAPR of OFDM signals,a novel PAPR reduction scheme based on clipping and filtering method suitable for the wireless LAN(Local Area Net) transmitter is proposed. The algorithm and the clipping ratio modification are also presented.Through computer simulation, the effects of clipping and filtering on the performance of OFDM system, including the PAPR, the power spectrum density, and the bit error rate are analysed. It is shown from the results that clipping and filtering is a promising technique in PAPR reduction for OFDM wireless LAN system.
