| 摘 要： | 奥尔特加·加塞特在论述西方大学的使命时特别强调关于文化的传授职能，这无疑是中外高等教育共同的弊病。从对文化的理解、文化与知识的关系上来解析关于文化传授职能，并试图从奥尔特加·加塞特大学的文化传授职能中分析它给我国高等教育带来的启示。

| Abstract: | The function of culture instruction in higher education was stressed by Ortega Gasset when he was explaining the mission of western universities and thought the culture instruction was exactly missing in universities. The function of culture instruction can be clearly understood when culture and relation between culture and knowledge is defined. Ortega Gasset＇ s views on the function of culture instruction give a significant inspiration on China＇ s higher education. |
