| Abstract: | The present paper describes the synthesis of polystyrene gel and the control of its pore diameter. The averaged pore diameter of the gel were calculated by means of two methods. The semidiameter of polystyrene hydrodynamic spheres is in good agreement with the averaged semidiameter of gel. Therefore the separation mechanism of GPC is steric exclusion mechanism. |
