| Abstract: | The diction principles of English writing of TOEFL are discussed from two aspects, the techniques in the choice of words and the proper application of transition signals. It is pointed out that, in English writing, the choice and application of words and the quality of diction influence the score of test directly. The diction principles are highly practicable. |
