| Abstract: | Summary The presence of 10–3 M ouabain or furosemide in the perfusate inhibited saliva secretion induced by either isoproterenol (10–5 M) or phenylephrine (10–5 M) from isolated rat submandibular glands and caused characteristic alterations in the electrolyte composition of saliva. |
