唐卡图像线条轮廓检索方法

各种媒体中唐卡图像越来越普遍,有效地对唐卡图像进行检索变得至关重要。提出一种唐卡图像检索方法:首先提取唐卡图像的线条画,对线条画线条提取Gabor特征并存储在特征库中;用特征二次式距离的方法对待检索图像线条画的线条特征和特征库进行相似性检测,找出相似唐卡。实验证明该方法检测精确度较高,能较好地检索到唐卡图像。

A Thangka image retrieval method based on contour lines

As more and more Thangka images in various media, effective retrieval becomes crucial to the Thangka image. In this paper, a retrieval method is proposed for Thangka images. Firstly, the line drawing of the Thangka image is extracted from the original image. Then Gabor line features are extracted from the line drawing and stored into the feature database. Finally, the signature-quadratic-form-distance method is used to detect the similarity between Gabor line features of retrieval image line drawing and the feature database, which finding the similar images. The experiments demonstrate that the detection method has higher accuracy and better retrieval performance for Thangka images.
