Abstract:A frequency discrimination feedback circuit is used to control the external cavity length of a single-longitudinal-mode long external cavity semiconductor laser for stabilizing frequency. Stable single mode output with a linewidth of less than 200 kHz was obtained. The frequency shift is within 2 MHz in 2 hours.
