略论周恩来的科技思想

周恩来在担任新中国政府总理的26年实践中,始终重视科学技术的发展,形成了丰富的科学技术思想。他倡导的科学技术是关系经济、国防和文化各方面发展的决定性因素;培养和发挥人才作用是我国科学技术发展及整个国家建设的关键;学习和引进外国先进的科学技术,为我所用;发展科学技术必须处理好一些基本关系等一系列具有长远战略意义的重要思想,对于当时和今天我国科学技术的发展都具有重要的指导作用。

On Zhou Enlai''s Thoughts on Science and Technology

In the practice of being prime minister of Chinese government for 26 years,Zhou Enlai always put emphasis on the development of science and technology and formed rich thoughts on science and technology. He advocated that science and technology is the decisive factor for the development of economy,of national defense and of culture,that cultivating talents and bringing their abilities into full play are the key to the de- velopment of science and technology of China and the construction of the whole country,it is necessary to learn and introduce foreign advanced science and technology and use them for our purposes,it is necessary to deal well with basic relations in developing science and technology,etc.These thoughts are of long-term strategic significance and of important guiding significance to then and present development of science and technology.
