| Abstract: | Possessing the advantages of both wood and metal, wood-metal composite materials axe capable of such excellent performances as abrasion resistance, heat resistance, and electromagnetic shielding. As a new developing trend, to compound wood and metal is one of the important ways to give wood high performances and new functions and to add to its values. The composite materials developed include metalized wood, boards overlaid with metal, compound pipes, and surface metalized wood. |
