多芯片组件互连瞬态响应

摘    要:提出了运用渐进波形评估(AWE)法的改进算法研究多芯片组件(MCM)互连线的瞬态响应.根据电话电报方程的特点得出其矩阵指数展开式的麦克劳林展式,建立了网络的修改节点法方程并求得电路的冲激响应.利用递归卷积法求得任意激励下的电路响应.数值模拟结果表明,在一定的精度要求下,本算法速度比传统模拟器Spice约提高2 个数量级.

Abstract:A derivative algorithm ofasym ptotic w aveform evaluation(AWE) w as putforw ard to study the transient response ofm ulti chip m odules(MCM). Based on the features ofthe Telegrapher's equations, Maclaurin series ofits m atrix exponentwere obtained. The series were putinto the overallcircuitm atrix as a stam p. Then the im pulse response w as gained. Finally, the arbitrary input's response w as gained by the m ethod ofrecursive convolution(RC). The results ofnum ericalsim ulation show thatthis algorithm is abouttw o orders ofm agnitude fasterthan the traditionalsim ulatorSPICEto certain degree ofaccuracy.
