工科学生“高等数学”成绩的相关分析研究

摘    要:工科高等数学是本科教学过程中最重要的基础课程之一。针对上海应用技术学院历届工科本科生(2005级至2011级)的高等数学成绩进行了系统的分析,主要对高等数学上下册成绩之间的相关性、高考成绩和高等数学成绩的相关性、以及大学物理与高等数学之间的相关性进行了探讨,特别是对近年来的变化趋势进行了比较分析。通过分析发现,工科学生在大学一年级下学期已经出现了较为明显的成绩分化;高数成绩能够对相关课程成绩产生明显影响;高数成绩与高考成绩相关性较小,这可能是由于中学数学和高等数学在思维方式和学习方法上存在巨大差异所致。希望对工科学生在高等数学学习过程中存在的问题进行深入细致的探讨,能对今后工科高等数学的教学方法的改进提供一定的数据支撑。

Abstract:Higher Mathematics is one of the most fundamental courses in undergraduate teaching process.Statistical analysis and correlation analysis has been carried out for the results of the terminal examinations of college students in higher mathematics at Shanghai Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2011.Main results are focused on the correlations between volume Ⅰ and volume Ⅱ of higher mathematics examination scores,the correlations between the college entrance examination scores and the higher mathematics scores,and the correlations of examination scores between university physics and higher mathematics were discussed as well,especially the variation tendency of the scores has been investigated in recent years.The analysis revealed that engineering students at my university in freshman semester show significant differentiation; higher mathematics can have a significant impact on the relevant courses; the correlation between scores of higher mathematics and college entrance examination is less,which probably due to the huge difference of mode of thinking and method of learning between middle school mathematics and higher mathematics.Hopefully we could find some problems and propose some suggestions for higher mathematics teaching through deep and detailed discussions and data analysis,and also provide some data support for the improvement of engineering mathematics teaching methods in the future.
