| 摘 要： | 为了更好地了解目前我国高校英语专业师资队伍的现状,对某样本学校外国语学院的英语专业教师进行了调查分析,发现其师资队伍存在以下主要问题:教师性别比失衡；高职称、高学历的教师人数偏少；学缘结构不够合理；教师的教学任务繁重；科研水平整体不高；待遇不够理想.针对上述问题,就如何促使高校英语专业的师资队伍现状得到改善,提出相关建议.
