The Cultural Psychology of Han Nationality Reflected in "Mamma

The term "mamma" is richly connotative in the dialects of contemporary Han language (Chinese), which shows the tension of appellation term in dialects. By examining the uses of "ma", "mamma", in the dialects and jargons of Han language, this article discloses the cultural psychology of taboo, yin yang, and patriarchal ties of blood that they reflect in the mind of Han na- tionality.
