Primno evansi sp. nov. (Amphipoda: Hyperiidea) from the eastern North Atlantic |

| Abstract: | A new species of hyperiid amphipod, Primno evansi, is described from samples collected on R.R.S. Discovery Cruise 140, August to September 1983, in the eastern North Atlantic. The genus Primno, which has a wide geographic distribution, is now represented by five species with two of these occurring in the eastern North Atlantic. Primno evansi is closest to P. brevidens. |
