| 摘 要： | 从自组织特征映射算法的基本思想出发，通过研究ＳＯＦＭ算法在设计矢量是一化码忆上时存在的问题。对其进行了改进，计算机模拟实验的结果表明，改进后的ＳＯＦＭ算法有效地改善了图像编码质量，同时大幅度降低了码书的训练时间，算法简单，易于硬件实现。

| Abstract: | Based on the discussion of the theory of self organizing feature maps(SOFM), an modified SOFM algorithm is proposed to improve the quality of reconstructed image and reduce the training time of codebook. The results of computer simulation show that this algorithm is better than SOFM algorithm. |
