| Abstract: | This paper introduces the significance of ISIS protocol dual backup on routers. Firstly, the main variables and data needed in the process of dual backup are described. Then, this paper expounds the way of achieving the main thread during this process. Finally, the method for the switch between main and backup systems is discussed. |
